Ron Waller is no stranger to the Salser Place in Garland, Texas. When Ron called to tell us that he and Diane would be in the Garland area the 28th of September, Neva and I were excited to, once again, spend time with one of the great Contributors to 1967beetle.com.
Ron slipped away from family doin’s up the way and soon we were talking up a storm in the living room.

After a while, we switched to the kitchen for coffee and cookies.
Ron and Diane have had a really exciting life which has carried them across the USA and back. Big business involving people-mover vehicles readied Ron for jumping right into a 1967 Beetle once retirement had settled in.
Before Ron arrived, I reviewed some of his Contributions to the Site. Amazing. Ron has involved himself in some Beetle repairs which I have not yet gotten into! And, the Treffen Border-To-Border trip which he and Diane took—the vintage Volkswagen experience of a life-time!
If you have not read his Articles, do a Search for Ron Waller and his Articles will come to the top.
All too soon, Ron had to get back to family. The memories of his visit will long warm our hearts.
