This is a 1967 Volkswagen Deluxe Beetle Sedan VIN 117651175. The Beetle was manufactured April 21st 1967 in Wolfsburg Germany. The Beetle was originally purchased by Helen Eisele of Columbus, Ohio on May 23, 1967. She purchased it from the now closed Davidson-Green Volkswagen dealership located on the east side of Columbus, Ohio. Helen traded in a 1949 Chevy for $125 dollars to allow her to purchase the Beetle. I purchased the Beetle from then 78 year old Helen, on August 29, 1983 with 21,994 miles on the odometer. Helen was forced to sell the car because she could no longer push in the clutch pedal due to hip issues. The current mileage is 22,777. I purchased the Beetle when she was 16 years old and she just turned 50 this past April 21st 2017. I have clocked less than 800 miles on her over the past 34 years. She is very original including the original tires and new unused original spare tire.

The following is a list of parts that have been replaced or rebuilt since the car was manufactured in April of 1967. Some of these parts were replaced before I purchased it and some were replaced by me over the last 34 years.

SOLD – L620 Savanna Beige ’67 Beetle

East Coast pal, Chris Vallone’s L620 savanna beige ’67 has actually been featured here at 1967beetle.com a few times during its restoration process. This car originally came to Chris as a true time capsule. During the restoration, Chris added his own flair and style to the interior with close attention to detail. The car is now for sale again! It’s a very respectable example of what many consider the best year of the VW Beetle; 1967.

SOLD – L620 Savanna Beige ’67 Beetle

Jay and I are in contact (sometimes) daily about the ’67 Beetle market. We joke a lot too. Reason? So many vintage VW’s are chopped up, lowered, and missing many if not all of their correct parts. Well, not this time. This L620 Savanna Beige ’67 Beetle is as close perfect as it gets. Sure, a few usual suspects in the engine have been changed (Pierburg fuel pump, etc). But, it would not take much at all to make this gem perfect. Look at those correct color running boards, and fender beading. Who’s going to make an offer?

Info from the seller.
You are viewing what may be the best unrestored original vintage VW Bug in existence. We all know these great cars, were known for their reliability, gas mileage, and traction in snow, when most other cars didn’t make it home. No one I know or knew, kept these cars at home in the garage, and only used them occasionally on sunny days. I have over 150 photos of very remote areas, that I wish I could post, but eBay only allows 24, unless you attach your own site, which I don’t have. So, I’m posting a few of the outside, so you can see the original factory paint, and the dent and dimple free body. I’m also posting the remainder, of a small taste of remote areas, so you can appreciate the incredible original quality. Take a look at the original sound deadening material, on top of the floors, under the rubber floor mats. The upholstery looks new, all of it. I am probably the first guy, to open the original tool kit. I’ve also included a photo of the factory equipped seat belts, that are in excellent condition, that the original owner, replaced with modern units. This car will have you talking to yourself, and have you thinking, you just stepped out of a time machine. If this was a Porsche 356, the factory would be putting it in their museum.

SOLD — L633 VW Blue ’67 Beetle

Fresh to the market here at 1967beetle.com, we have a very respectable L633 VW Blue ’67 Beetle. Taking a deeper look, this ’67 has both correct German front and rear bumpers. Did I mention how hard those rear overrider tubes are to source? Also, you’ll notice the one year only safety knobs and AM Sapphire V radio. We all know how hard those are to come by. The car hasn’t been abused, chopped, lowered, etc. Restore it back to 100% factory, or drive and enjoy as is. Info below from the seller.

“I don’t know much about the history of this car. It’s a blue 1967 VW beetle. I bought it from an auctioneer friend who obtained it from an estate he was auctioning off. It was kept in a barn and he was able to crank it right up and drove it home after installing a new battery. I replaced the tires which were showing signs of dry rot and had the brakes fixed. I replaced the wiper arms which were missing and bought new floor mats.

The engine appears to have been replaced at some point in time as it is not original to this year model. The interior is in great condition with no apparent holes or tears in the seats or headliner. The interior carpets are all intact and the floor boards are solid. The original radio is still intact but an aftermarket radio has been mounted under the dash. The odometer shows 00967. ( I’m sure it has rolled over at least once) It cranks easily and runs great. I bought it for my daughter and she likes to drive it around on our farm but doesn’t feel comfortable out on the highway. (She named it Oliver after the character on the Arrow) I hate to sell it, but I don’t have the time or money to give it the attention it deserves. I have 2 kids about to graduate and head off to college. It has a clear Alabama title.”
