Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. This is a true example of how a ’67 should be. I’m not sure if I’d wash it or just enjoy it.

    1. I agree!

  2. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a hitch on a ’67 before ! Wonder what she towed…………

    1. Agreed. I think 3 people I’ve talked to said the same thing.

  3. Note that the air breather bracket is missing.

  4. I’m thinking about making an offer. What should I offer guys?

    1. I’d say…. Whatever you feel it’s worth. :)

      1. Wasn’t her original asking price $10,000? I see it’s now $5,500. In the condition it’s in, I would think $2,500, or less, would be reasonable. It needs just about everything worked over.

        1. Yes, I spoke with the owner and we made an adjustment based on the current market. Chris Vallone is very interested and might restore her.

  5. I just bought a 67′ Beetle two days ago. This one was second on my list. I really like it. Joel you should grab it.

    1. It’s a nice one.

  6. SALE PENDING! I knew this one would go fast..

    1. Are you at liberty to disclose the final selling price,if you know? Just curious, got mine for $1,350.
