Sean Plunkett’s L518 Java Green ’67 Beetle

Sean Plunkett is a good pal and also co-owner of the BuggyHouse here in the SF Bay area. (The best VW shop) He recently picked up this L518 Java Green ’67 Beetle to add to his fleet. We will try to get a full article in the near future. For now, enjoy some photos.

Yep, there’s a nice oval in there too!

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. ’65 356, 911/912 Porsche wheels? They look good on it with the fatter tires and lowered front end. I like the stock/vintage racing look.

  2. Nice fresh new look with the 911 steel wheels, nice car.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Jim.

      1. The wheels were Jim’s idea. He gets 100% credit for that. I was skeptical but as with absolutely everything he and I talk about, I’m glad I listened.

        1. Right on! Have I met Jim?

          1. No I don’t think so. Next summer (hopefully) we’ll have a little car show/raffle/bbq at the shop and you can meet him then. Jim’s frickin’ awesome. You guys will get along.
