Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Eat, sleep, surf, and drive. Love the European tail lights. The gas tank is even filled.

    1. Mike,
I think you need another ’67. Is there a chance?

  2. There are a lot of cobbled together parts on this car. Nice looking, but there are a bunch of things that need to be replaced in my opinion for the price they’re asking.

    1. Jens,
Rebecca is an honest seller, and we’ve posted all service records she has available. The car is listed as OBO.

  3. I don’t mean to be annoying, I’m just pointing it out to an unsuspecting buyer. You can remove my comments if it is out of line. No problem.

    1. Jens,
      No worries!

  4. Hello, regarding the engine refresh, can you please tell me what the repair shop meant by “Engine case oil seepages – customer advised”? Does the the case leak or seep oil? Thanks.

      Hi Christopher,
The lower cam shaft journal studs will eventually need to be replaced. There is no current seapage or leaking. I hope this helps with your question.

      Thank you
