Simply amazing!

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Maybe one day my 67 will look like that ??

  2. Very pretty … and, a cousin to Wally2 with only 296 between our VIN #s. Richard, do you have a birth certificate with an actual build date? Wally2 is Jun 22, 1967.

    1. Since there doesn’t seem to be a way to “edit” comments … I mean RANDY, not Richard and I apologize for the error. Must have been so taken with the beauty of this convertible, I blocked out everything else.

Oh my. what a beauty. I wish my Poppy Red vert looked as nice as this one. This one is a hard act to follow tho!

Your Beetle may never look like this one, but each is “one of a kind” with a unique history and wonderful flaws that can never be ordered from a catalogue.

  4. A beauty. Would be the perfect Valentine! Good luck!

    1. Wow, such an amazing car.

  5. It looks as though it had bin forgotten at the dealers little back room, till lately ?

  6. I bought a 67 convert. back in the summer of 2014. was having a tuff time to figure out how it should look. and what was required to bring it back to OG. I will use this thread as my reference. Thanks BOB
