Just submitted to 1967beetle.com, we have a unique and desirable array of NOS parts. It’s not that often you see some of these gems. For now, we will play show and tell. Maybe the owner can be convinced to sell some of them to the ’67 community. Speak up, if interested.

Lobster claws. Name your price.
My ’67 VW Convertible (“Wally2” by name) has a $100 bill burning a hole in the glove box … the seatbelts would be the perfect accompaniment to the new interior in my numbers matching gem!
If there is a list being generated, I would like to be on it. I am on the prowl for correct 67 Bug parts excellent not necessary NOS. I seek OEM parts whenever possible.
For now, the owner wanted to show his collection of parts. However, he too is watching this thread so… The email that goes out reaches well over 2,500 email in-boxes around the world.
Wow, that Sapphire radio really interests me. my 67′ would love to see that. I guess it’s for sale? I hope, I hope.
Seat Belts!!!!!!!
I would buy new 67 original seat belts in a heart beat. Please get back with me at: tddelaney2@msn.com
Thanks
Terry
The rear apron interest me. Let me know if you are selling. I could use it for my restoration. I just picked up a NOS front apron yesterday!
I need the seat belts
Those seat belts are awesome! My 67′ Standard did’nt come with them, but they are cool!! Remember those from my childhood….
Wow! Seat belts! That would be an awesome addition to my full restoration. That’s the only thing I haven’t found if he’s gets interested in selling them.
I’ll give you $500 for the belts.
Are those two or three point belts? I didn’t know they were so sought after. I know three pointers weren’t included when I bought my bug back in 67′. They were two point belts with a silly retractable gizmo that never worked right. I bought my three pointers in a junk yard back in the 70’s.
Tom,
They are the retractable lobster claws; correct for the ’67.
Right, thanks, Eric, fond memories are coming back.
I must have these belts.
Again, I’ll take that radio.
And I’ll take the belts. Cash offer.
I’d be interested in the rear apron, as I’m sure many others. Whatever my chances, this just confirms the great value of 1967beetle.com
Thanks Eric
Sam,
Thanks for reading!
Eric, I’m also very interested in the seat belts, and the backrest release lever. I pay top dollar for OE. More valuable to the group might be where the NOS looking seat belts came from.
Let’s see if the owner chimes in.
I agree … a source for the NOS seatbelts would be golden!
I don’t see a picture of NOS VW Blue fender beading, but if he has some available that is also something I am currently looking for. And of course hubcaps as always.. I am sometimes amazed at how much NOS stuff is still available to find.
Oh, it is out there.. It’s just a matter of finding it. Ron over at Wolfsburg West told me stories of trips to Germany. The VW shows there are lined with NOS goodies.
My idea was just a bit of show and tell, didn’t know or anticipate the interest in purchasing. Wasn’t my intention. I have three 67’s in my family/extended and have collected parts for many years. While I appreciate the generous offers, presently not planning to sell. I may see if I have duplicates in some cases. I do have a set of vw blue fender beading, again for my consumption. I do have NOS Savannah Beige running board covers for possible disposal perhaps. I am not aware of any NOS 67 seat belts for sale or a source of. If anyone from the UK is reading this would like to communicate with.
Would you mind taking a few pictures of the VW Blue fender beading. I am trying to source some at the moment and it’s hard to tell if they are VW Blue or not. If you want to take a look go to this thread on the samba. It’s hard to tel from pictures to begin with, but you might be able to tell since you have a NOS set at home.

It is somewhat diffucult to tell via images when two are similar. The darker one on the right in first images would be my opinion. The type 3 piece isn’t as dark as my type 3 piece when I comparing them. The aftermarket doesn’t appear dark enough. At any rate, the correct piece is L633 on top and black on bottom. I took photos last night of a set, decided they weren’t blue enough, will look for my vw blue set for photos. I’m not organized.
Thought I would ask once more if you were interested in selling the rear apron. I understand your intention to hold on to the parts, but thought it would not hurt to ask. Thanks for sharing your collection!
Add me to the list for seatbelt.
Maybe if Wolfsburg West saw how badly we all need retractable seatbelts they would start making them?
I just fwd your note over to Ron at WW. I think the old style seat belts are not that safe. I have mine just for looks in the car.
Charlie,
Thanks. Not disposing of at this time.
Charlie,
There is a/an NOS apron on Samba in England.
I saw that earlier and got excited, but it is not a 67 rear apron. I will keep looking. I did find my VW Blue fender beading though!
