Spotted on eBay, this L639 Zenith Blue ’67 Beetle is in very respectable condition and has 49,969 original miles. I love seeing all the correct German metal in place, the way diejenigen Deutschen (those Germans) intended it to be. The AM/FM radio is also very interesting, as I’ve not seen many of them.

“1967 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan with only forty-nine thousand actual miles. And yes, the Florida title states that the miles are actual. This little darling has obviously been loved, well maintained and babied all through the years. The original engine, # H0632481 runs excellent, with no hesitation, coughing, or stalling.”

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Very nice ’67!

  2. I wonder why the drivers door as well as the door handle is 68+? It wouldn’t take much to get this one back to 67 specs. They should have a regular bidding auction.

    1. If you look back in our previous listings, this ’67 was for sale by someone else. It seems this new company purchased, did some work and is selling again. All things considered, it’s a nice ’67 that would not take much to make perfect.

      1. Oh, that makes sense now. I thought it was the same seller.

        1. The good one’s make the rounds.

      2. Yeah, Eric, it’ looks like the car that had the two strange white knobs over the ashtray, now covered up with a chrome trim piece. It also has the white seats and the tail light housing rubber is painted over. I hate when they do that, it only takes a few minutes to remove them.

        1. Don,
          Bingo! I still think it’s a respectable ’67. Don’t you?
