This L456 Ruby Red ’67 Beetle is a local Alameda, CA car. In fact, it’s only a few blocks from 1967beetle.com. I’ll admit, I have stalked this car many times. Here’s the info from the seller.

“This fantastic ’67 Beetle has a really nice 1641cc (built by our friends at The Buggy House), dual kadrons, new electronic ignition, front disc brakes and is the first year of 12V.

I bought this ’67 May of last year on my birthday. It’s just like the one my Mom had when I was a kid. I love it (and want to keep it), but I need to invest in my small business (new industrial sewing machine). The speedo isn’t working, but should be simple to fix.”

    I’m thinking $6k. That bigger engine in such a stock car does not make sense.

      To each his own. The seller might have needed more power on the highway, etc. it’s a nice car.
