Louie Meyer L633 VW Blue ’67 Beetle

It’s readers like Louie Meyer that remind me why I started 1967beetle.com.

“Eric, I subscribed to your updates back in early January when I found your site. I was searching info on ’67 Bugs because I had one back in the 90’s. Your info and site inspired me to get another ’67.

I just picked it up last night in Tuscon AZ. I live in San Tan Valley AZ. My wife Jenna found an ad on Craigslist and I cut a deal with the owner and we were on our way. The previous owner told me it hadn’t started in 4 months. She said it was a bad starter. I started looking it over and found some shotty wiring in the engine compartment. I jumped the starter with a screwdriver and she fired up! I drove it 90+ miles home without a hitch!

The car is painted a light blue color but was originally L620 Savanna Biege like yours. I can’t wait to start working on this bug. Thank you for all your great info and wonderful site. Thanks for the inspiration and the renewed spark for the love of air-cooled VWs.”

Thank you!

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.
