SOLD – L282 Lotus White Euro ’67 Beetle

FOR SALE – L282 Lotus White Euro ’67 Beetle
Just listed  here at 1967beetle.com for good friend Chris Vallone. This is a bit more rare L282 Lotus White Euro ’67 Beetle, just waiting for someone to hop in, turn the key and enjoy.

Info from Chris.

“This awesome 1967 VW just recently came into our shop. I actually found this car in Hawaii and had it shipped here. I wanted this car was because it is a “Euro” 1967 Beetle. US ’67 beetles can be found here in the states, but a Euro is probably as rare as getting an Oval Window Bug here in this part of the world. Euro ’67s still kept the early style front headlights.”

This car is near flawless in appearance, a beautiful show car that really shines and one that is rare in the USA.

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. What a beauty!
    Love those chrome rings…

  2. Daaaaaaaymn. That’s just amazing.

  3. Sweet car! Were the euro ones 6 volt? I think they had disc brakes.
Chris knows VWs. Someone is going to get a very nice car.

    1. Hi Mike. My Euro does have the 6v system but is drum at all the corners. Currently undergoing a body on Resto.

  4. Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!! That would be an AWESOME Christmas present!

  5. Where’s the emergency flasher knob In this 67 beetle euro ?

    1. Robbie…If I am not mistaken…the Emergency Flasher Switch would be a requirement by the USA Gov’t–but not necessarily required in other countries. Someone correct me if I am wrong here, please. jay

  6. Hi Jay !
It’s me again ! I have another question about the 67 Euro ( apologize about air cooled ignorance) but I been a bmw guy for the last 15 years even though I got a 68 Karman Ghia and 74 Super Beetle 10 years ago “never got chance “ to work on this projects and been in storage since ! Some how ending buying this 67 beetle a few months and fall in love instantly! (the tittle reads 71 ) what you can tell me about the safety brake light switch ? It goes to the left of the ashtray ? I noticed the beetle in one of the pictures above has some red switch in the dash by the ashtray .
Sorry for the long story ….but since I’m new in this air cooled community I’m learning from all of u guys !
Thanks sincerely another 67 beetle lover !
    Robbie ✌
