FOR SALE – NOS 1967 Beetle Beauty Rings

Posted by Eric Shoemaker

Hello, I'm Eric. I started Air-Cooled Artifacts (previously, 1967beetle.com and Lane Russell). I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Nice find! Asking price for the set?

    1. The asking price is in the listing. $400 Euro. That’s 500.41 US Dollars.

  2. Maybe it’s just me, but I actually prefer the look of the wheels without the beauty rings. I can appreciate the excitement of finding a NOS set if you like the look though!

    1. I agree ……………..although I ‘m thinking of buying one and wearing it.

    2. Our research shows that 10-slot trim (beauty) rings were standard on the ’67 convertibles built in Osnabrüeck. This Spring, Wally2 will be sporting a good set of used rings we just acquired to go with his new, Lane Russell, hub caps.

      1. Thanks for the info, Donna. Yes, I’m learning that both 9 and 10 were used. Ah, we have to love all these one year only mysteries. Thanks again for the business. We are here for you.

  3. $500.41 US? I paid less than half that for my entire ’67 beetle.

    1. Ha! NOS isn’t cheap, that’s for sure…

  4. I bought a set of four NOS German Beauty Rings for 66-67 Beetles still in the wrap for $50 a few years ago.

  5. Eric , price eduction !
    €299 / $359

    1. You should buy them….

  6. Happy to find your site and store. I own a wonderful java green ’67 Beetle I bought in March, 1969 – one owner for over 48 years – it’s seen about 40 states and four countries and the car’s still going strong (it’s showing a lot less age than I am!).

    1. Hello, Peter…I bet that Eric would love to publish your story. You would need to do a write-up of your history with the Beetle. With the write-up, he’d need some photos of the car and at least one photo of you with the vehicle. Readers love to see owners and their cars! I hope to see your story soon! jay
