Worthy of a mention here at 1967beetle.com is the surviving 1967 VW Beetle registry. Keeping it simple, the site is broken down by owner, body style, build date, VIN # and color.

There’s also an ongoing conversation at TheSamba about the registry. A big thanks to the ongoing passion of the Vintage VW community for putting this together for us ’67 owners!

    I am planning to purchase a 1967 bug with right hand drive. is there a way to check if it hasn’t been converted. the vin# is 117650731. I have 5 1967’s and I don’t see much difference in the vin#.

      The registry is in Germany. VWOA.
