FOR SALE – Restored German ’67 Beetle Pierburg Fuel Pumps

I’m very happy to now be offering the correct German fuel pumps for your ’67 Beetle. These generally stay in limited stock, but we’re always trying to find viable cores, etc.

Each restored German Pierburg Fuel Pump has been disassembled and inspected for viability. Once it passes this test, it is thoroughly cleaned inside and out. During reassembly, each pump is fitted with custom-crafted superior quality diaphragms. All pumps are assembled on a jig to set the pre-load factory spec conditions of the main diaphragm to ensure a longer service life. The best part, these pumps (by design) put out the correct fuel pressure. Want to ship your fuel pump to me for restoration? Get in touch.

The Finishing Touches for Your Vintage Volkswagen™

Hello, I'm Eric. I started 1967beetle.com. I also own Lane Russell, a leading supplier of VW parts for your classic Volkswagen restoration. I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Awwww Eric- I admire your passion! Had you told me the Squirrel-a-nator would become the subject of a blog and a learned group V-dub enthusiasts, back in 1975, I would’ve questioned what you been smokin (har)! While I’m sure these rebuilds are top notch- personal experience suggests that a 10″ piece of cloth reinforced rubber fuel line causes more problems than the pumps themselves. Lack of delivered pressure, leaking, fire to name a few. I always replace that little piece of fuel line before I point the finger at German engineering. Keep up the great work. These parts aren’t exactly easy to scare up. And best wishes for a speedy recovery with Jay Salser. bt
