SOLD — VW Blue ’67 Beetle

Another ’67 coming on the market here at 1967beetle.com. Sure, it needs a little work but the important parts of the car are there and correct. Original bumpers in the front and rear are a very nice touch. These are getting harder and harder to find. It’s too bad I have a small garage because I’d love to pick this one up as my next project.

“This ’67 Beetle has been sitting in the California desert since the 80’s in a old mans yard. It needs restoring of course but is very complete. I have the original engine but it is not in the car at the moment. It’s never been in a accident other then small bumps here and there. Aprons are perfect. The car is completely dry from rust except for where water slipped through the aged rear window rubber and rusted up the bottom/ribbed luggage area behind rear seat, but that’s it! No rush on the pan, doors, or heater channels.

Original VW blue paint is showing under the white paint brush job that the old owner gave it many years ago. It scrapes off with a razor easily. I haven’t found any signs of bondo. All German original sheet metal present, fenders, hood, doors, deck lid. The dash is NOT cut. I have a clear title that is not in the DMV system anymore.

$1800. And this car becomes your new restoration. I’d say it’s a pretty good start for those with less $ to play with.”

This ’67 is a great shell for a full restoration. Imagine how beautiful it could be purring down the road again. You could be the one that brings it back to life.
