SOLD – L41 Black ’67 Beetle

s-l1600-8

Just listed for sale here at 1967beetle.com. We have a nice L41 Black ’67 Beetle in the correct color combination. There’s not much more I can say about this VW, other than the fact that I’d love to park it in Lane Russell garage. Here’s the info we have from the seller.

“I have a really nice original black paint 1967 bug with factory red interior. It has both original black California plates which only stay with the car if you live in California, new German axle boots, new transmission mounts, new Bosch voltage regulator, new reverse light switch, all new German fuel line, restored 66-67 only distributor, new factory style German battery cables, new Wolfsburg West factory cardboard glove box, new engine compartment seals, and new German engine firewall insulation. The car is all numbers matching, including the engine. The engine was just completely gone through with all new bearings, gaskets, and seals, new heater hoses, new preheat hoses, new fan belt, German muffler, and it only has about 5 miles on it since being rebuilt. The original radio works, it’s currently registered, and has absolutely NO rust. This car is super solid and has an awesome patina to it. It needs carpet in the front, but the original carpet in the rear is still in pretty good shape. The original headliner is in great shape as well with one very small tear. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I can provide my phone number as well if you would like to find out specifics on the car.”

SOLD – L620 Savanna Beige ’67 Beetle

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The 1967beetle.com inbox has exploded this morning! So many people have sent over this L620 Savanna Beige ’67 Beetle that we wanted to share. It’s actually a customers car which is now available for sale. Our friends at BAT have the bids going strong. Who’s going to make an offer?

This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan recently underwent a thoughtful restoration by the current owners, which included a refreshed 1500cc engine, new paint, and new interior. The car was purchased from the original owner’s son nine months ago, where it had been sitting in the Borrego Springs desert for over 20 years. Mechanical systems were gone through and refreshed, with NOS replacement parts used whenever possible. No records from prior ownership exist, however the owners have included over $13k in receipts from the project. Detailed photos of the restoration process have been provided, and the car carries a clean California title.
