SOLD — L456 Ruby Red ’67 Beetle

Fresh to the market here at, we have a really nice L456 Ruby Red ’67 Beetle for sale. I love seeing a stock vintage VW. We all know these gems are going up in value each year. Here’s the info we have from the seller. Please reach out to him with any questions. Let’s help this ’67 Beetle find the new home it deserves.

History of the Bug as I know it. It’s been in Colorado since at least the early 80’s possibly longer.  I purchased the vehicle from a retired engineer who owned it for many years.  He took care of it meticulously doing the majority of the maintenance himself.   I have tried to maintain it the same fashion.  I have owned it from 2013.   The engine has been rebuilt, but I do not have the paperwork.  It is I believe the original  H case.  This is an early 67  manufactured in Nov/Dec 1966. This bug is fun to drive.  Transmission shifts smoothly and brakes work well. Tires show little wear. It is dependable. I often drive this vehicle on 100 mile round trips to Denver for work.  It keeps up with traffic easily!   It is not a show car, but would be a great candidate for full restoration or leave it just how it is.

SOLD – L41 Black ’67 Beetle

Just listed for sale here at We have a nice L41 Black ’67 Beetle in the correct color combination. There’s not much more I can say about this VW, other than the fact that I’d love to park it in Lane Russell garage. Here’s the info we have from the seller.

“I have a really nice original black paint 1967 bug with factory red interior. It has both original black California plates which only stay with the car if you live in California, new German axle boots, new transmission mounts, new Bosch voltage regulator, new reverse light switch, all new German fuel line, restored 66-67 only distributor, new factory style German battery cables, new Wolfsburg West factory cardboard glove box, new engine compartment seals, and new German engine firewall insulation. The car is all numbers matching, including the engine. The engine was just completely gone through with all new bearings, gaskets, and seals, new heater hoses, new preheat hoses, new fan belt, German muffler, and it only has about 5 miles on it since being rebuilt. The original radio works, it’s currently registered, and has absolutely NO rust. This car is super solid and has an awesome patina to it. It needs carpet in the front, but the original carpet in the rear is still in pretty good shape. The original headliner is in great shape as well with one very small tear. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I can provide my phone number as well if you would like to find out specifics on the car.”
