We’re Moving – Again

We are Moving. Next Stop, Austin, TX
Some of you may already know, but 1967beetle.com is relocating back to Atlanta, GA to settle down. My Grandpa (who gave us our ’67 Beetle and inspired this site) is 95, and other family members are getting older too. We’ve had an amazing journey across the US over the last 7 years. San Francisco, Alameda, Austin, etc. It’s just time to be home.

If you’re local to the Atlanta, GA area, please say hello. We’d love to connect with other vintage Volkswagen owners. Soon, Lane Russell plans to build a full workshop for future projects. Maybe a few period correct ’67 Beetle restorations, as well as continued OEM quality parts.

Also, I’d like to thank every ’67 Beetle owner around the world that has helped us continue to grow. 1967beetle.com exists because of your shared passion for the best year vintage Volkswagen.

Hello, I’m Eric. I founded and curate 1967beetle.com. I also co-founded Lane Russell with my wife Amanda. I drive a ’67 Beetle daily, and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

I always thought that Texas was Big enough for everyone. Apparently not! Ha, ha! Well....Eric, it seems that our paths will NOT be crossing in this life. As young as you are...well, let's put it this way..."sometime" in the "future" we will shake hands where there'll be no rust! Meanwhile...I'll try to keep up with you via the Internet. jay

Eric, you'll be 120 miles from me. When you come to Anderson to visit family , you gotta holler at me. If they're still on Lindale, you're less than 2 minutes from my house. Travel safe.

Sam. Yep! They are still in Anderson. I'd love to meet you. Soon.
