My ’67 Beetle – 2012 Alameda Classic

A huge thanks to everyone that came out today to the 2012 Alameda Classic. I had a really good time showing my ’67 Beetle. It seems everyone I spoke with had their own unique vintage Volkswagen story that connected them to nostalgic memories. Their stories are the main reason 1967beetle.com started in the first place.

Hello, I'm Eric. I started 1967beetle.com. I also own Lane Russell, a leading supplier of VW parts for your classic Volkswagen restoration. I drive a '67 Beetle daily and love to share vintage Volkswagen stories with the world.

  1. Eric, your car looks great. I see you’ve got a driver’s side ’67 front fender on your roof rack. Got it “just because” they’re getting scarce? Do you ever bring your car down to the Southern California area? It would be a hit at “The Classic” in Irvine, the Nick’s Burger meet the night before, or any others around here. CB’s “VW Drag Day” is this month in Irwindale. “Show and Shine”, swap meet and VW racing.

    1. Thanks Don. Yeah, I’ve started to hoard ’67 fenders. You never know when you’re going to need one.
